Communication Styles

This workshop will explore the nature of communications, the four communications styles, identify your personal styles, and how this knowledge can be applied in interactions with others.

In this workshop, you will explore:

  • Which style do we usually communicate in?
  • Do we communicate differently with different people and in different situations?
  • How does our style connect with the way we learn, our anger style, our conflict management style and our personality?

 

Communication Tips I

In today’s world, effective communication is an important human skill and in workplaces, relationships must be established more quickly. In this workshop, participants will learn and practice skills dealing with feedback.

  • Dealing with feedback (corrective & positive) and handling disappointment

This workshop builds on Communication Tips 1 and assists in building interpersonal communication skills.

  • Saying “No” assertively and Feedback

 

Non-Verbal Communication

Over 90% of the effectiveness of your message is created by body language and non-verbal communications such as body posture, voce, intonation, facial expressions and eye contact. In order to be understood, it is important to understand how your message is impacted by non-verbal communication. This workshop will make you aware of the impact of non-verbal communication, understand your non-verbal traits and how to understand the non-verbal cues of others.

In this workshop, you will explore:

  • Significance, categories,
  • Linkage to Learning Styles,
  • Eye behaviour (Oculesics) and
  • Some multicultural manners
